Forgotten Flowers
Crystal shards,
Of frozen tear drops,
Sparkle protectively,
In the harsh sunlight,
Although the light,
Melts them tentatively,
They seep into the weary earth,
Into the veins of forgotten flowers,
Lively flowing,
Passing long elapsed originality,
Through crumbling petals,
Swiftly donating vitality,
To downcasted roses,
Such sights of beauty and purity,
Reach my eyes,
Causing salty drops of apprehension,
To form,
Only to freeze as they hit the earth
